Residential Service Electrician Job – Middle Tennessee

 

Greenway Electric is hiring a Residential Service Electrician to support our growing residential service operation across Middle Tennessee.

This role is designed for electricians who enjoy variety, problem-solving, and service work — not repetitive new construction or industrial projects. If you like fresh work, changing locations, and working directly with homeowners, this position is a strong fit.

 

The Role: Residential Service Technician

As a Residential Service Tech at Greenway Electric, you’ll handle a blend of residential service work, including:

• Electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics

• Residential service calls and repairs

• Panel repairs and upgrades

• Safety-related electrical work

• Small installs and home improvements

• Same-day emergency electrical service when needed

Emergency work is handled as part of the normal service day — not an overnight or on-call rotation.

 

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a service-minded electrician who

Has experience as a residential service technician

• Is confident diagnosing electrical issues

• Communicates clearly with homeowners

• Works clean, safe, and code-compliant

• Is interested in long-term growth

Customer communication is important in this role.

 

What This Job Is NOT

• Not industrial work

• Not traveling or per-diem

• Not repetitive job-site work

• Not for electricians who dislike service calls

• Not for those who avoid customer interaction

This is residential service work from start to finish with very limited new construction.
